One of Ghana’s sensational musicians has threatened to lead a demonstration by December this year if Obuasi – Anwia-Nkwanta road is not fixed by then.
Richard Amankwa, popularly known as TT Temple says “authorities have been deceiving us for years now over the construction of the road.”
Speaking exclusively to The Probe he said: “It was in 2017 budget, and 2018 budget that Obuasi – Anwia-Nkwanta road will be fixed; and it has even been mentioned in the 2019 budget. It’s all lies! They [authorities] are lying to us!” If they don’t ensure that come December the road is constructed, I’ll lead the youth to demonstrate against them.”
According to the musician, who hails from Obuasi, the assembly in the area are to blame for the lack of attention given to the road.
He said some persons have even charged him [TT Temple] for not helping in any away to influence the repair of the road.
According to Temple, the neglect of the road for several years sometimes suggest ‘Obuasi is not part of Ghana.’
The Chop Mate hit maker has thus urged all the people in the area to support the course of getting the attention of the appropriate authorities to get Obuasi – Anwia-Nkwanta road fixed as soon as possible.
TT Temple is known for couple of hit songs including Baby, Perfect one and Chop Mate.
