The controversial counsellor, Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt has described long distance relationships as a probable ‘heart break relationships.’

He says, most young women are disappointed by guys living abroad who promise to come and marry them.

In a discussion monitored by The Probe on TV3 on Friday morning, September 14, he said: “When a guy from ‘abrokyire’ disappoints you, the injury is wider than a guy in Ghana! Go to Kumasi and see how people are hurt because of ‘abrokyire awareɛ.”

Counsellor Lutterodt says, most of the time, some ladies enter into long distance relationship with an ‘entrepreneurial mentality’ that ‘he’s from abroad and has money, he wants someone to spend for him,’ which according to him does not help.

According to Counsellor Lutterodt, many long distance relationships and marriages do not last due to lack of knowledge of themselves.

He, therefore, advised that ladies should request that guys abroad they want to marry come to Ghana for them to date and then study themselves well before they decide to marry them, else lack of knowledge about each other will collapse the relationship after marriage.
