Popular actor/satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa known in showbiz as KSM has shared his gloomy days as a movie maker that many Ghanaians, probably, have not heard before.

Famed for comedy, KSM says a movie he produced dubbed Double did not get the needed attention because the public had expected a comic movie which was not.

Speaking on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM, today, September 26, 2018, KSM said: “The ‘D’ in Double meant disaster […] as a commercial venture, it [movie] was a disaster only because, I don’t know, but I’m thinking that I had been branded with comedy and laughter. So, 90% of people who came [to watch the movie] thought they would laugh heartily.”

KSM said that Double was not meant to be funny but, that, “it was a deep psychological thriller.”

The Satirist further recounted his gloomy past, in the movie industry, that he “made a mistake and went for a loan for the movie.” He said, there was a court order to take over his house but for the timely intervention of renowned lawyer, Thaddeus Sory.

KSM is set to thrill Ghanaians with his latest local series Ͻdͻ Wahala, on Adom TV, as he vows to replace the Indian telenovelas many Ghanaian TV stations have translated into Twi.
