The Federation of International Football Association [FIFA], has banned the former boss of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi for life, from all football-related activities.
In a release issued today, October 30, 2018 it says: “The adjudicatory chamber of the Independent Ethics Committee has banned Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), for life from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) at both national and international level.”

According to the release, “the adjudicatory chamber found Mr Nyantakyi guilty of having violated art. 19 (Conflicts of interest), art. 21 (Bribery and corruption) and art. 22 (Commission) of the FIFA Code of Ethics, 2012 edition.”

The Federation has also fined Mr Nyantakyi an amount of CHF500, 000, equivalent to US$497, 000.
Mr Nyantakyi’s has thus been notified of his ban today, the release said.
