BECE candidates to select schools of choice after final exams – GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) says it is aware of the fact that to date students of the various Junior High Schools, across the country, have not been able to make selection into Senior High School.

Candidates of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) have for the past years selected their choice of senior high schools prior to the start of their final examinations.

In a press statement signed by the Head of Public Relations at GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the education body assured all candidates that they will have three weeks after writing their BECE for the selection of schools.

The statement further assured all the candidates that there is no cause for alarm and should not be distracted by this development.

It also wished all the candidates well in their upcoming examinations.
